Impressed by Kenya: a journey full of unforgettable moments
Kenya, a country full of breathtaking nature and rich cultural experiences. During my travels through this beautiful country, I have experienced so many special moments that my breath caught and my heart beat faster. Let me take you on a journey through some of the most memorable highlights that Kenya has to offer.A warm welcome to Nairobi
Upon arrival at Nairobi airport I was met by driver Henry, who was a rock throughout the journey. He was waiting with his trusty Land Rover and guided us through the bustling city. His warm welcome set the tone for an unforgettable adventure.Enchanting evenings at Kili Spring Camp
At Kili Spring Camp we were welcomed in the evening with a lit campfire and the sounds you normally only hear in National Geographic. The atmosphere was magical and the experience breathtaking.
Coastal Discoveries: Mombasa and Diani Beach
The contrasts of Mombasa and the relaxation on Diani Beach were an unforgettable part of our trip. In Mombasa we were confronted with the reality of wealth and poverty. The city, the food trip and the discovery of a market full of unknown vegetables, fruits and spices showed us the diversity of the country and its people. Then Diani Beach brought four days of summer vacation in winter, with its white beaches and azure blue sea. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Magical encounters with wildlife and natural beauty
During our trip we had the privilege of experiencing some unforgettable wildlife encounters and breathtaking natural beauty:- Waking up at dawn to watch the monkeys swinging above your head with your grandchildren.
- A first-hand encounter with a herd of giraffes in Amboseli National Park, with Kilimanjaro rising from the clouds in the background.
- Exploring the mountains in Taïta Hills, both by jeep and on the back of a motorbike, and enjoying the colours, smells and friendly people.
- A walking safari with guides Finn and Sun, where we were constantly amazed by the animals and the beautiful landscape.
- A breathtaking bike safari in Hells Gate, where the nature was so beautiful that it seemed like we were in a Hollywood production.

The adventure through the eyes of our grandchildren
What made this trip extra special was the fact that our two grandchildren, aged two and four, were able to fully enjoy the adventure without worrying about anything. They adapted effortlessly, ate everything, slept everywhere and lived like God in Africa.Kenya: a country never to be forgotten
Going back to my memories of Kenya brings a hazy glow and makes my voice catch. The country touched me deeply with its overwhelming beauty, fascinating cultures and unforgettable encounters. Kenya will always have a special place in my heart. Babu and Bibi
