Instead of hanging around slowly, we immediately step on the gas: via the hectic souks of Marrakesh, you shoot across the epic Atlas Mountains towards the pristine south.

Together with our local partners, you dive deep into the Berber culture, hike through hidden valleys, and meet the nomads who live here. Then you swap the car for a robust 4x4 to dive into the deep sand dunes of Erg Chigaga.

After a night under the Milky Way, you fly through the surreal rock landscapes of Tafraoute. Sounds like a crazy fast lane? It is. But one in which you experience the best of the country in a week!

8 days in Morocco

Day 1

Arrival

In just over three hours of flying, you are in the middle of a different world. Welcome to bustling Marrakesh! You immediately make your way among donkey carts, scooters, and colorful taxis. Immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle, breathe in the scent of spices, and get ready for the road trip!

Day 2

Marrakesh

Today, with our enthusiastic local guide, you will discover the alleys of the Medina, the Bahia Palace, and the fragrant souks. Not the standard route, but real stories from the locals. In the evening, you stroll across the iconic Jemaa el-Fna square among the street life.

Day 3

Marrakesh - M'Goun Valley

Watch the steering wheel, because today you conquer the spectacular High Atlas! Via Aït Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate, you wind deeper into the rugged mountains. You end up between the palm forests and ancient kasbahs of the M’Goun Valley for a warm Berber welcome.

Day 4

M'Goun Valley

Choose your adventure: hike with local nomads through the mountains, tear through the Valley of Roses on a motorbike for two hours, or pick fresh vegetables for a traditional cooking workshop. Today is all about real contact with the population and the rugged mountain life.

Day 5

M'Goun Vallei - Desert (M'hamid)

Leave the asphalt behind you! Via the potters of Tamgroute, you drive to the edge of the Sahara. Here you switch to a robust 4x4 and encounter the deep silence of Erg Chigaga. Sunset on the dunes, dinner, and sleeping under a blanket of millions of stars.

Day 6

Desert (Foum Zguid) - Tafraoute

After a magical sunrise over the dunes, you cruise via Foum Zguid and Tata through the Anti-Atlas. Green oases alternate with ancient ruins and the impressive Aït Mansour Gorges. You end up between the iconic granite peaks of Tafraoute.

Day 7

Tafraoute

Tafraoute is the ultimate outdoor paradise! Hop on your mountain bike to the surreal painted rocks (Les Rochers Peints) or go for a trek through the Ameln Valley. Taste the peace of village life and end your trip with a fantastic dinner among the red rocks.

Day 8

Departure

With a head full of adventures, memories of warm encounters, and guaranteed some sand still in your shoes, you fly back home. Morocco has grabbed you!
