High-end safari

Botswana offers high-end safaris where you can spot the Big Five in unique ways: from a jeep, on the water, in the air, or on foot. Tick the Big Five off your list in your own way, right in the heart of the African wilderness!

Safari in Africa at its purest

The largest parks in Botswana are Chobe National Park, Moremi Game Reserve, Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Central Kalahari National Park, and of course, the Okavango Delta. In addition to these vast parks, there are also several smaller conservancies to explore.

Looking for something different from a typical game drive? Botswana offers countless possibilities. Take a mokoro (a hollowed-out tree trunk) and glide along the Linyanti River, spotting hippos lounging in the water or elephants taking a refreshing dip. Does the thought of a hollowed-out tree trunk make you a bit nervous? Opt for a sundowner cruise on the Chobe River instead, drifting along a crocodile-filled river while watching wildlife gather at the water's edge as the sun sets.

Prefer to stay on solid ground? Go for a scenic flight instead! Hop into a small aircraft and soar over the parks, spotting wildlife from above. A scenic flight over the Okavango Delta is an absolute must. You can also choose to take a flight from Botswana to witness the breathtaking Victoria Falls in Zambia.

Not a fan of water or flying? Then a fancy Nature Walk might be just the thing for you! Accompanied by an experienced guide, you’ll set off on foot for an adventure in the wild. Dangerous? Not at all! The guides are highly trained and will ensure your safety at all times. Taste, smell, and feel nature in a way you’ve never experienced before.

Beyond its incredible safari experiences, Botswana is also home to exclusive accommodations. Not much of a camper and think the African wilderness is only for those willing to rough it? WRONG! Botswana is known for its eco-friendly, high-end safari lodges, where you’ll enjoy top-tier comfort without missing out on the magic of the wild.

Safari in Botswana: Meno A Kwena

In the Mood for Some Royal Scenes During Your Trip? If so, be sure not to skip Meno A Kwena when travelling through Botswana. This is the very place where Prince Harry and Meghan spent a night under the stars—pure romance! Pick a perfect spot on your private veranda and take in the stunning views of the Boteti River, where herds of animals gather to drink from the refreshing water.

Teeth of the Crocodile

Situated between the lush Okavango Delta and the arid Central Kalahari Game Reserve, on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, you’ll find the tented camp Meno A Kwena. A hidden gem perched on a rocky cliff overlooking the Boteti River. The name Meno A Kwena is the local term for the area where the camp is located and means "teeth of the crocodile"—an appropriate name, as crocodiles are permanent residents of the Boteti River. From your tent, you have an incredible view of the spectacular wildlife scenes unfolding below. So sit back, relax, and soak in this magical setting!

A Royal Touch

Beyond its breathtaking surroundings, this place also carries a royal touch. When Prince Harry and Meghan first fell in love, Harry travelled to Botswana to work in rhino conservation. His beloved Meghan soon followed, and together they spent the night at Meno A Kwena. A fun fact: the diamonds in her engagement ring also come from this very region. And we are absolutely convinced—everyone who sleeps under Botswana’s endless starry sky falls in love… if not with each other, then certainly with this stunning country!
