About the Area

The Tuli Block is Botswana’s best-kept secret – a unique alliance of private concessions forming one of Southern Africa’s largest private game reserves.

Situated in eastern Botswana, the Tuli Block lies in a narrow strip along the Limpopo River, where Botswana, South Africa, and Zimbabwe meet. Much of the land was previously farmland and remains privately owned, but it has since been developed into a private game reserve known as the "Northern Tuli Game Reserve".

Tuli Block is Botswana’s best-kept secret.

The landscape is rugged, featuring dramatic rock formations, gorges, and ancient trees, as well as striking inselbergs. Paired with the largest elephant population on private land, it’s no wonder this area is nicknamed the Land of Giants.

Close to South Africa’s border, it’s convenient to start and end your journey in Johannesburg. Flights to Johannesburg are not only more accessible but also more affordable than flights to Botswana.
