How we work
Our team consists of three departments: marketing, sales and operations.
Marketing
This is where it all starts for many travellers. What makes Charlie’s Travels so special? Who are they and why should you absolutely choose them and not an easy standard safari trip? From the first (fleeting) contact with the company, to the moment they are completely convinced that you should book a trip to Africa through Charlie’s Travels and can’t wait to speak to a consultant who suits them perfectly. The team meticulously maps out this ‘trip’, together with optimisations for processes, the website and the collaboration with the rest of the company.
Sales
The first real personal contact happens with our sales consultants. As soon as someone shows interest in that unforgettable Africa trip, they jump on it and plan a call as soon as possible to find out everything about the customer as a person and the travel wishes. Then the puzzle can begin: all wishes and points of attention are interwoven into 1 connecting trip where you as a traveller get the most out of your holiday.
Operations
The last link is the operations team, which springs into action as soon as a trip is confirmed. All preparations, reservations and bookings can now be planned. However, it does not stop there. Since all trips are completely tailor-made, it sometimes happens that something changes or that there is some bad luck on the way - think of a flat tire, for example. In that case, the team immediately looks for a solution or alternative so that the trip can continue as smoothly and quickly as possible.
