About 130 years ago, medicine man Mogo wa’Kebiro made a mysterious prediction… He foresaw that the colonists would bring with them a gigantic iron snake, one with as many legs as a centipede. This snake would spew fire, and nothing would ever be the same again. Less than ten years later, in 1896, this prophecy came true. The British embarked on a colossal project: constructing a railway line cutting through the rugged interior of Kenya.
