Amboseli National Park
A fan of elephants? Then Amboseli is the place for you. Here, you’ll find these majestic creatures with the mighty Kilimanjaro in the background. Tired of spotting from the car? Then hop onto the back of a motorbike with a Masai guide!

Large herds of elephants
The name Amboseli comes from the Maasai word 'Ambosel', meaning 'salty dust', referring to the red dust that elephants particularly love. So, in addition to countless zebras, wildebeests, lions, hyenas, and cheetahs, you'll also spot a great number of elephants in Amboseli National Park. Large families roam the vast plains, with the tallest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, standing majestically in the background. What a sight!

Hop on the motorbike!
Are you an experienced adventurer who’s tired of the typical car safaris? No problem! Show off your toughness and hop on a motorbike with one of the Masai warriors to explore the park together. Fun fact: humans may have drawn borders in the park, but do you think the animals care? Of course not! The wild creatures roam freely, heading wherever they find it most interesting. And sometimes, they end up in another park, completely unaware. Coincidentally, you might even wave to an elephant from your car while driving from Nairobi to Mombasa!
Tired of all the adventure at night?
Sleep in a luxurious lodge, a charming and atmospheric safari tent, or an unique homestay with a local community member. Amboseli is a popular tourist park, so there are plenty of options to choose from. It's the perfect way to wrap up a tiring – but rewarding – day of wildlife spotting! Put your feet up, enjoy the view over the savannah, and sip on a cold drink. Cheers!
