Kayak in Magadi
Imagine this: four days in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, escaping all the tourists. This is truly off the beaten track! Paddle from campsite to campsite in a kayak, with a guide to safely show you the way, and camp surrounded by wildlife. Sounds great, right?

Nature and Adventure: Four days of kayaking in Kenya
The kayaking trip lasts for four days and is perfect for true adventurers. From day one, you'll witness the most stunning nature unfold before you, starting with a motorbike ride to the first campsite. On either side, you'll zoom through lush, green forests. Over the next two days, we'll guarantee some serious adrenaline rushes! One moment, you'll be gliding on calm waters, enjoying the sight of a curious monkey peeking through the branches, and the next, you'll be paddling your way through a fast-flowing river. In the evenings, you'll sleep in a tent by the river, but not before the chef prepares a delicious meal. Feet up and a cold beer in hand? Honestly, it doesn't get any better than this.
Mix culture and safari!
During this adventure, you’ll explore the enchanting Shompole Conservancy. Here, you'll embark on a safari that focuses on a unique experience, even when wildlife is scarce. End the day with a sundowner on the jeep, sipping a drink while soaking in the stunning surroundings. For a taste of local culture, you'll visit a Manyatta, where you'll gain insight into the traditional way of life. Pretty cool, right?

Kayaking in Magadi: more than just water
In addition to the river safari, you'll also explore the area on foot. On day two, the tour guide will take you on a game drive in an open jeep through Shompole Conservancy. Just before sunset, you'll jump into the vehicle and feel the last rays of the day on your face while enjoying a stunning sunset, overlooking the Loita Hills. Of course, with a drink and a snack to make it complete.
Still not enough wildlife? Rise and shine! On day three, it's an early start for a bushwalk and baboon tracking. The Lale'enok Baboon Project is home to many baboons and focuses on eco-tourism and research on this primate species. Be aware: don't be surprised if the ranger hands you a cap beforehand. In order to observe the baboons up close, the rangers have trained them to trust people wearing a cap. With this 'passport' on your head, you'll have access to the baboon community and the chance to observe them closely.
Literally and figuratively sustainable!
Bonus: this experience is incredibly sustainable! Not only do our local partners guarantee minimal CO2 emissions during the journey, but you also contribute to the sustainability of the local community. At the end of the adventure, one of the communities you passed will receive a cookstove. This cookstove will help them cook more cleanly and emit less CO2. You get an awesome experience, they get a more sustainable way of living! Win-win!
