German Sales & Marketing Intern

Are you enthusiastic, social, and proactive? Do you have a passion for travel and dream of gaining hands-on experience in an international team in Africa? Then this could be your opportunity! At Charlie’s Travels, we are looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern to support our team in developing, promoting, and selling tailor-made trips for our growing German market while gaining valuable experience in travel sales and marketing.

What will you do?

  • You will join a small and close-knit team supporting our Sales & Marketing activities for the German market. You will get hands-on experience in how an international travel company attracts customers, sells tailor-made trips, and develops its products.
  • Your work will include supporting the team with marketing activities, reaching out to potential customers, communicating with German travellers, translating and adapting content, and helping improve our sales and marketing approach.
  • You will also have plenty of opportunity to learn about African travel, our destinations, and what it takes to create memorable, tailor-made trips.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Entrepreneurial, ambitious, and interested in Africa, tourism, and sales
  • Social and a strong communicator, both with customers and colleagues
  • Data-driven and analytical, with an interest in understanding what works
  • Creative, solution-oriented, curious, and proactive
  • Passionate about travel and adventure
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Eager to learn, take initiative, and gain hands-on experience
  • Interested in marketing, sales, tourism, or international business
