We think the biggest advantage is that Charlie’s Travels is actually in Kenya and knows what life is like (especially around the corona cases because that’s where the biggest doubts were before departure). Then we found out that traveling off the beaten track is a really fun concept! Especially with the sample trip they outlined, we were actually sold! Away from the crowds and no tourist attractions. As experienced travelers, it’s nice to be completely immersed in a culture and everything is thought out and arranged for you. Just the way we liked it.
